Who can apply

We welcome PhD students, PhD graduates, postdoctoral researchers, university lecturers and teaching fellows. We look for tutors who have studied or taught at universities in the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand, or at other highly ranked universities.

Native or near-native English proficiency is required, with the ability to teach your subject clearly at university level.

We pay through Wise, so you’ll need to be able to receive Wise transfers where you live.

Sessions last 60 minutes. Students choose from your available time slots. Yoren shares their materials in advance and handles enquiries in Chinese.

Please quote your rate per 60-minute session in your preferred currency. We agree your rate and payment currency before your first session and pay for completed sessions in that currency.
